Niurka Del Carmen Morales Castellanos earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from EDP University of Puerto Rico and later completed her Nurse Practitioner education at Miami Regional University.
She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her professional affiliations include the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American Nurses Association (ANA), and the Florida Nurses Association (FNA). Niurka currently sees patients in our Syracuse Location on Green Street and received the Outstanding Employee Award in 2024.
Her professional interests include preventive medicine, promoting healthy lifestyles, and ongoing development in advanced nursing practice and evidence-based care. Personally, she enjoys reading—especially on health, personal growth, and contemporary fiction—taking short courses in wellness and technology, and spending meaningful, grounding time with her family. Niurka shares that her family has always been at the center of her life, shaping her values, resilience, and approach to patient care; the love and strength of her children and the foundation provided by her parents and siblings continue to motivate her in her work and daily life.
